1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Compressor application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App and delete it from your device.

2. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the App on Android mobile devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

3. Restrictions

You agree that you will not:

• Modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or its native modules;
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App;
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels on the App;
• Use the App in any unlawful manner, for any unlawful purpose, or in any manner inconsistent with these Terms;
• Use the App to compress or distribute illegal, copyrighted, or otherwise protected media without authorization.

4. Advertising

The App is free to use and is supported by advertising via Google AdMob. By using the App, you consent to the display of ads. Ads may be personalized based on your device's Advertising ID. You may opt out of personalized ads in your Android device settings.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While our compression algorithms are highly tested and optimized, we cannot guarantee absolute perfection in every edge case or on every device.

Important: We strongly advise you to review the compressed output before deleting your original source files. We are not responsible for any irreversible loss of media data resulting from use of the App.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Compressor, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of, or inability to use, the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party SDKs including Google AdMob and Firebase. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes will mean that you accept and agree to the changes. We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page when changes are made.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.
